Join us for the Cape Town International Jazz Festival in 2020. It is the largest music event in sub-Saharan Africa. The festival is famous for its star-studded line up of local and international artists. Performances will occur on 5 stages with more than 40 artists performing over 2 nights. Our tour package includes a two day pass to the jazz festival, a vineyard tour, "jazz safari" visit to a local musician’s home in Gugulethu for live music & a home cooked meal. The South Africa Jazz Tour is unique in that it includes 2 night stay in Pilanesberg National Park; home to healthy populations of lion, leopard, black and white rhino, elephant and buffalo - Africa's Big Five.
The South Africa Jazz Tour will occur between two of the most fascinating cities in South Africa:
Johannesburg, also known as Jozi or Joburg, is the largest and wealthiest city in South Africa. Though Joburg is not officially one of South Africa's three capital cities, it is home to the Constitutional Court, the country's highest court. Because of its location on mineral-rich land, the city is known for its gold and diamond trade.
Cape Town was originally colonized by the Dutch East India Company and it became a stop for ships sailing to other parts of the world. After being established as the first European settlement in Southern Africa in 1652, Cape Town quickly became an economic and cultural hub. The city remained a destination for immigrants and is now one of the most multicultural cities in the world. Resting between Table Mountain and the crystal blue waters of Table Bay, Cape Town is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Vibrant city life is balanced with serene natural beauty that appeals to locals and travellers alike.
