Through Black Soul Rhythms Travel® and Black Soul Rhythms Radio, we create ways to experience culture both through the places people travel and the music that connects communities across the world.
Some stories are discovered by walking through a neighborhood, sharing a meal, visiting a historic site or meeting the people who call a destination home. Others are carried through jazz, soul, R&B, gospel, funk, house, hip-hop and the many sounds shaped by the African diaspora.

Black Soul Rhythms Radio celebrates Black music across genres, generations and borders.
The station provides a platform for established and independent artists while introducing listeners to music from around the world, including R&B, jazz, funk, gospel, neo-soul, house, hip-hop and other sounds influenced by Black musical traditions.
But music is rarely separated from place.
A song can introduce someone to a city they have never visited. A genre can tell the history of a community. A festival can become the reason someone boards a plane.
That connection between music and destination is where Black Soul Rhythms Radio and Black Soul Rhythms Travel naturally meet.
One helps people hear the culture. The other helps them experience it.
That relationship is already reflected in the Black Travel Community, which combines destinations, cultural experiences and global music events rather than treating music and travel as unrelated interests.
THE STORY BEHIND
BLACK SOUL RHYTHMS
Music has always told stories about place.
Black Soul Rhythms began with a love of Black music and the belief that music deserves a platform that reaches beyond familiar playlists and commercial boundaries.
Over time, another connection became increasingly clear.
Music introduces people to cultures.
Jazz tells stories about New Orleans, Harlem, Paris and Cape Town. Reggae carries Jamaica around the world. House music connects Chicago with global dance floors. Afrobeats can make someone curious about Lagos or Accra before they have ever considered visiting West Africa.
Travel provides another way to continue those stories.
Black Soul Rhythms Travel was established in 2017 to create thoughtfully planned experiences that help travelers explore destinations more deeply.
Today, Black Soul Rhythms Radio and Black Soul Rhythms Travel serve different purposes, but share the same cultural curiosity.
Together they explore what happens when music, culture, travel and storytelling intersect.

THE FOUNDERSsTORY
Built from experience in travel, business and culture.
Black Soul Rhythms Travel was founded after more than two decades of professional experience managing corporate travel along with a career spanning financial services, human resources and learning and development.
That business background shaped an approach to travel planning centered on organization, communication, research and professional service.
But the foundation of Black Soul Rhythms also comes from something much more personal: a lifetime of travel and a longstanding love of music.
Years of visiting destinations, experiencing different cultures and following music around the world eventually led to a different way of thinking about travel.
The most memorable journeys were rarely defined only by the hotel or the famous attraction.
They were shaped by the people, music, history, food and unexpected experiences encountered along the way.
That perspective became part of the philosophy behind Black Soul Rhythms Travel and its growing specialization in culturally immersive travel and music tourism.
Today, the company combines professional travel planning with cultural curiosity to help travelers turn an idea for a trip into a thoughtfully designed experience.
