Miami, Florida

One of the most popular stops in Florida is the grand city of Miami, located on the southeast coast of the state. With vast beaches, vibrant nightlife, and rich culture, Miami has something to offer everyone.

The music scene in Miami is reflective of the diverse cultural makeup in the city. Miami is home to many Hispanic cultures, including Cubans, Dominicans and Puerto Ricans. As a result, you can expect a rich mixture of Latin sounds, including salsa, bachata, reggaeton, etc. Additionally, due to the significant West Indian population, Miami is also home to soca, calypso, reggae and dancehall. Here are a few music events held in Miami each year:

Ground Up Festival

Held at the North Beach Bandshell, the event is intimate and immersive, with only about 1800 tickets available per day. The festival has been designed as an optimal experience for both artist and audience. There are two performance stages with no overlapping sets in addition to masterclasses/artist talks in the Grove and on the beach.
